Imagine having an exciting high-paying job that lets you use your creativity to organize the happiest day of people's lives. Welcome to the world of wedding planning! There are few jobs that offer so many benefits. As a wedding planner (also known as a bridal consultant, wedding consultant, or wedding coordinator) you will have a job that is fun, interesting, and rewarding. If you start your own wedding planner business you can enjoy the freedom of being your own boss.

With more than 2.2 million weddings taking place in the United States alone in 2011, there are more opportunities to become a wedding planner than ever before. Whenever a couple marries, someone is needed to oversee all the details to ensure the wedding is a success. That "someone" - the wedding planner - could be YOU

This is a 40-hours certificate program for people who are interested in the wedding industry. The classes are 100% participatory, with all students partaking in the researching, planning, designing, and coordinating of recipe components. Students will participate 30 hours of lecture in classroom or at wedding service providers' workplaces. Aspiring instructors will break into teams to create real weddings for real brides and grooms. Towards the end of the course, students will participate 10 hours of field training coordinating real weddings. Please dress professionally for class because we will have real brides, grooms and wedding vendors (guest speakers) attending. Class sizes are limited to 24 students. Every student will receive an eBook, a CD with sample worksheets and an emergency kit. Each class generally runs 3 hours. Registration required.
